Questlove Shares His Personal Home Recipe For Tasty Tacos

It's common knowledge that great food can get Questlove feeling some kind of way, be it an delicately-crafted chef's table meal or some gut-busting home cooking courtesy of Patti Labelle. The drummer/bandleader/DJ/writer/everything-doer is gearing up to release a new book devoted entirely to chefs he personally admires, but it seems he himself has a few recipe tricks up his sleeve.

Questlove will be partnering with the Los Angeles restaurant HomeState to offer up a custom taco, and now we're very happy to bring you the inside salsa scoop on its recipe. It's been dubbed the Paesano Taco, and at Questlove's request the dish features Brisket, Queso, Pickled RedOnions, Pickled Jalapeos and tomatoes, all slathered over a warm corn tortilla. "Its Philly x Austin x LA," HomeState boasts, "and it might just be Questloves best collaboration to date (Sorry, DAngelo!)." Their words, not ours!

Proceeds from Questlove's Paseano Taco sales at HomeState will benefit the Silverlake Conservatory of Music, and the creation will be on sale throughout the entire month of December.
