Though Prince's private Minneapolis estate and production complex, Paisley Park is known as his beloved home, the artist also sought refuge on Providenciales in Turks and Caicos where he acquired a large estate and several surrounding parcels, totaling over five acres of land. The property is over 10,000 square feet, includes six bedrooms, six bathrooms, a tennis court, two private beaches, and a 200-foot personal dock. There's also a purple driveway at the front of the estate.
“With a unique property like Prince’s Turks and Caicos estate, we anticipate significant interest and multiple bidders,” Premiere Estates founder Todd Wohl said in the statement.
The Turks and Caicos property was first put on the market with Christie’s International Real Estate for $12 million in May 2016, a month after Prince's death, but never sold.
The value of the property has not been released, but a FAQ section on the Premiere Estate site urges that “all buyers do their own due diligence in regards to assessing value."
