Composed in collaboration with the heralded Hans Zimmer, the album has already revealed itself to be Skateboard P’s most soulful outing to date, tapping into the everlasting glow of Motown for a star-studded affair. Thus far, we’ve heard “Runnin'” and the Lalah Hathaway-assisted “Surrender,” and today he unveils his latest selection from the soundtrack “I See a Victory,” a collaboration with gospel giant, Kim Burrell, AKA your favorite singer’s favorite singer, which is available for you to hear down below.
The film Hidden Figures (starring Octavia Spencer, Taraji P. Henson and Janelle Monae) arrives on Christmas Day and is based on the best-selling book Hidden Figures: The American Dream and the Untold Story of the Black Women Mathematicians Who Helped Win the Space Race.
