Nick Hakim Strips Down "Cold" For Yours Truly

Nick Hakim invited the good folks over at Your Truly into his brownstone Brooklyn estate for a a quick discourse on what the organic blues of "Cold" is all about. After meddling with some 45s and rooting the melancholy of his standout track in a turmoiled relationship and requited love, the former First Look took his axe in hand to blaze through the lush arrangement with just an old drum machine backing. While he certainly picks up the pace a bit on the track, the last 30 seconds or so shows the BK crooner dabbling with his electronics rig, looping and doubling over his own vocal and even throwing it in reverse for a moment.
