Jonathan Majors Dropped By Management & PR Company
Three weeks after being arrested on domestic violence charges, actor Jonathan Majors has been dropped by his talent manager and PR firm.
More bad news for Jonathan Majors. Less than a month after the Creed III actor was arrested on domestic violence charges, Majors, 33, has been dropped by his talent manager 360 Entertainment and PR firm the Lede Company, per Deadline.
According to the publication, the Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania star was axed from 360 Entertainment for issues surrounding his “personal behavior.” Along with his departure from both media companies, Majors and luxury fashion house Valentino “mutually agreed” that the actor would not be attending this year’s Met Gala as a guest.
Deadline claims that Marvel has had “zero conversations” about Majors, who currently plays Kang the Conqueror in the MCU, departing the franchise. The actor has already completed filming on Disney Plus series Loki, first appearing on the show’s inaugural season as ‘He Who Remains.’
Majors was arrested on March 25 after an alleged domestic incident with a 30-year-old woman, presumably his partner. “Jonathan Majors is completely innocent and is probably the victim of an altercation with a woman he knows,” stated the actor’s criminal defense attorney Priya Chaudhry. “We are quickly gathering and presenting evidence to the District Attorney with the expectation that all charges will be dropped imminently.”
In texts revealed after the alleged incident, the 30-year-old voluntarily took blame for Majors’ arrest. “They assured me that you won’t be charged. They said they had to arrest you as protocol when they saw the injuries on me and they knew we had a fight. I’m so angry that they did. And I’m sorry you’re in this position,” read a portion of the messages.
On May 8, Majors, who faces multiple counts of harassment and assault, is scheduled to appear before a New York City judge.
