Months ago, Flying Lotus announced that the mighty MF DOOM would be joining , Thundercat, Shabazz Palaces, Lapalux and KUTMAH for a cosmic moment on Brixton Academy's stage, it appears metal fingers is up to his old tricks again, dropping out of the show in the eleventh hour. But don't you fear, good people, another reclusive rhyme-slayer is stepping in to round out the bill. Jay Electronica has been announced as a surprise (and welcomed) sub for the show, which is fitting, seeing as how he currently lives there and, above all else, shares the afro-futuristic sentiments of our favorite madcap music man (FlyLo) and his BRAINFEEDER legion. The show is (sadly) sold out at the moment. But on the bright side, it starts in roughly an hour. So you can be fairly certain that the internets will grace us with some live clips throughout the day and into the night.
