James Blake teams with Chance The Rapper for a rework of "Life Round Here" from his Overgrown LP, which dropped this past spring. The remix produced by Blake features the Chicago MC stutter-stepping through a thick cloud of synth and saccharine buzzing its way to trappy crescendos that peak just below his verse. The winding rework was recently premiered by Zane Lowe on BBC Radio 1. James Blake discussed his feelings about the original track and his reasons for returning to it during their discussion:
“I never really felt the track was finished, even when it went on the album, I just felt there was this space.”
