Sheriff David Clarke joins the Dept. of Homeland Security

For months, Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke has been shilling for President Donald Trump. All of that sucking up has paid off; Clarke has been hired for a position with the Department of Homeland Security. He'll serve as the assistant secretary.
Clarke announced the news himself on a local radio station in Milwaukee, saying “I’m both honored and humbled to be appointed to this position, working for the Trump administration." However, after the news came out, Homeland Security's official Twitter account sent this tweet out:
So maybe he spoke before he was supposed to?
