Chris Rock & Tracy Morgan Reveal Their 'Top Five' Rappers Of All Time In A Hilarious New Clip
Chris Rock's upcoming film Top Five is already looking like a comedic tour de force with cameos from virtually every funny guy and gal you can imagine. Seriously, the trailer alone reveals guest star spots from Kevin Hart, Tracy Morgan, Whoopi Goldberg, Cedric The Entertainer, JB Smoove, newcomer Michael Che and literally too many others to get in to these few hundred words. So there really isn't much sense in going too far in on the roster. But if life in the Okay realm has taught us anything, it's that every funny guy thinks they're a damn good musician and every musician thinks they've got the one-liner to rule them all.
In a freshly surfaced clip from the film, Rock and Morgan delve into their own top five, naming some of their favorite rappers with a couple of shocking entries making the round-up. Morgan proclaims his loyalty to the founders, claiming Slick Rick, Big Daddy Kane, Rakim, KRS-ONE and Biggie as his legendary five-piece (with Jay Z as his sixth man), while Rock takes things into the next generation, championing Jay Z, Nas, Scarface, Rakim, Biggie and (dun, dun, dun) LL Cool J as his own reigning rap-game royalty. Wherever you lay in the fold, it seems Top Five is going to be as legendary of a comeback as we had hoped for the irreverent comedian and you'll be able to lay your eyes upon it come December 12th.
