As far as legendary Tonight Show guests are concerned, The Roots have certainly had their fair share. The likes of Nas, George Clinton, A Tribe Called Quest and Erykah Badu have all shared a stage with The Illa Fifth, and that's only within the last year. Last night, Billy Ocean & The Roots took it back to 1984 with an expertly executed live treatment of Ocean's two seminal cuts, "Caribbean Queen" and "Suddenly."
