Watch Beyonce Pay Tribute To Prince & Vanity Live In Miami

Last night, Beyoncecommenced herFormationworld tour in Miami, treating fans to a live and direct follow-through of her powerfulvisual albumLemonade, which landed this past weekend via HBO premiere. But outside of the new suite, Queen Bey used the inaugural tour stop to honor another member of music's royal guard, namely, Prince and his protege, the late Vanity. Those familiar with the Bey, know that she's always worn a profound adoration of The Purple One right on her sleeve, even joining him to perform "Purple Rain" and "Baby I'm A Star" at the 2004 Grammys.

But in this most somber week, full of tributes and remembrances, as we bask in the eternal glow of Prince, Bey didn't grab the mic. Rather, she lead a packed house in a "Purple Rain" singalong that surely hit the whole crowd with the feels. She also performed Vanity 6's hit "Nasty Girl" as a necessary and proper two-punch. You can watch Beyonce's purple-crushed tribute to Prince and Vanity in the clip below. With the Bey Hive coming full-force at each and every tour stop, this just may be your only chance to witness theFormationtour for yourselves.
