The Listening: New Music From Doechii and Lady Gaga, Snoop Dogg, Gucci Mane, Kehlani, Isaiah Rashad, Joyner Lucas and More

This week’s new music Friday also features DJ Khaled, Future, Tink, Bossman DLow and AZ.

Now that everyone is warming up and getting back outside, there’s a ton of new music coming out to provide you with the perfect soundtrack to that springtime getaway or that weekend road trip. You don’t want to sleep on all of the hotness hitting streaming this week. 

Of course, the ladies are definitely representing – with brilliant new stuff this week. Lady Gaga and Doechii team up for the Devil Wears Prada 2, Tink drops an ambitious powerhouse of an album, Kehlani teams with the legendary Missy Elliott and hints at a new direction, while Nelly Furtado and Boi 1da put on for Canada. 

But we also get new heat from legends like Snoop Dogg and AZ, as well as a new track from DJ Khaled with Future and Lil Baby. Joyner Lucas reimagines his most recent album, as Bossman Dlow brings that southern street energy as only he can. 

Oh, and in case you missed it– G ucci Mane dropped a new diss track aimed at… well… we’ll let you decide who you think he’s talking about.

The Atlanta trap icon drops a scathing diss track – just days after his former signee was arrested for robbing and kidnapping. Gucci never actually names any names on the Zaytoven-produced track–but who do you think he’s calling out here?

Gotta love it when superstars get together, and this pairing is certainly one that works better than cynics may assume. The two icons join forces for the highly anticipated Devil Wears Prada 2 soundtrack. 

BUNNA B - “WE BACK OUTSIDE”

The East Atlanta native returns with her latest single, a track that highlights a sound rooted in ATL but made for the world. Coming into her own, she’s bringing back the color, charisma, and chaos.

PJ MORTON - “MERCY”

Just a week after dropping his latest R&B single, “Mutual,” the New Orleans-raised singer-songwriter returns with a standout gospel track, highlighting how he remains connected to both genres. 

CRIMEAPPLE FEAT. SEAFOOD SAM - “OPEN ROAD”

Off of his forthcoming album, Beemer On Broadway, the New Jersey rapper is back in the building with a new single. With production from Loman. 

MYLES SMITH - “MY MESS”

Few artists go inward with as much vulnerability. The first song from his upcoming album arrives alongside the artist issuing a statement regarding his own struggles with his mental health. 

DJ KHALED FEAT. LIL BABY AND FUTURE - “ONE OF THEM”

It's the lead single from Khaled’s forthcoming album, Aalam of God, and it proves that Khaled still knows how to turn a record into a moment. And proof positive that this trio’s hitmaking chemistry is still intact. 

KEHLANI FEAT. MISSY ELLIOTT - “BACK AND FORTH”

Ahead of her eagerly awaited fifth LP, she teams with the iconic Elliott for this banger of a single. The track is an ode to going out and having a good time instead of getting into another argument. 

AZ FEAT. MUMU FRESH - “SO HIGH”

A smooth, mature lyrical showcase that could only come from AZ. He drops this heater of a single and also announces that Doe Or Die III is coming. 

JOHNNY DRILLE, AYRA STARR AND YOUNG JONN - “COLORADO”

The Nigerian singer makes a powerful return with this track that showcases his unique style while also reminding anyone of his impressive melodic talents.

ISAIAH RASHAD - “SAME SH!T”

After announcing his new album by sharing a minute-long teaser video earlier in the week, Rashad drops this understated track from producers Don Oskar, Mario Luciano and Nate Hobden.

NELLY FURTADO, BOI-1DA & CANADA SOCCER - “ELECTRIC CIRCUS”

The superproducer teams with the Canadian superstar for this single, from the Canada Soccer Foundation’s Perfect Pitch album, What If It All Goes Right? out June 5.

FERGIE BABY & CAM’RON - “HARLEM RIVER DRIVE”

Real Harlem energy, classic uptown sound. The new single is generating buzz for its collaboration with the Dipset leader and showcasing uptown swag in a way that feels timeless.

DREAMDOLL - “CLOCKIN’ IT” (FREESTYLE)

Fun, fierce and taking no prisoners. She comes out swinging – reminding you that there ain’t many better at poppin’ their ish like she continues to be. 

BRANDY HAZE - “IF YOU SEE ME OUT IN PUBLIC THEN IT MIGHT BE A.I.”

The track blends smooth R&B with a sleek, modern bounce, highlighting the tension between real-life connection and the comfort of staying within your own space.

M.I.A. - “EVERYTHING”

Her newfound Christianity is inspiring her latest work, and the superstar has announced a forthcoming gospel album that she says is “rooted in prayer, the Book of Revelation, and the Ark of the Covenant.”

LIL TJAY - “FIRST TIME”

Whatever may be going on in his personal life, he still manages to deliver the goods. This is another glimpse into his upcoming album, They Just Ain’t You.

H3ADBAND FEAT. DABABY - “SHE CAN GET IT”

Produced by H3adband’s fellow Baton Rouge native Sayyduke, the track leans into high-energy Southern production with a hook that sticks in your head instantly.
