How many Asian-American rappers can you name? Even the most passionate hip-hop fan probably can't name more than a handful. However, they are out here, and they are grinding.

Bad Rap is a documentary about four Asian-American MCs who are trying to break in the hip-hop industry. The rappers the movie is centered on are Dumbfoundead, Awkwafina, Rekstizzy, and Lyrics, four very different MCs who are each trying to navigate their way through an often ruthless industry.

We've covered this movie before, specifically when it was featured at Tribeca last year.  Now, the movie is being released widely on video on demand. Bad Rap will be released on iTunes, Amazon, Google Play, and Vudu on May 23, just in time for Asian Cultural Heritage Month.

There is something in this movie for everyone, whether you're an up-and-coming rapper or just a hip-hop fan in general.
