Brands and Bars.
Papoose gifted us on his birthday.
The Brooklyn emcee released his new freestyle "Fortune 500" today (March 5th) which sees him impressively rhyming bars and brand names in a rapid-fire bout.
Earlier this week a clip of the song went viral and the rapper decided to release the full version. “My homie E Dubb bet me a band that I couldn’t freestyle off of the poster on the wall," he said in a press statement. "I told him to put on one of his beats and this freestyle happened.”
In February, Papoose released his thirst studio album, Underrated, featuring appearances from Remy Ma, Musiq Soulchild, Casanova, DJ Premier, Pete Rock, Statik Selektah, and Ron Browz.
Pap also linked up with DJ Premier on one of the project's singles “Numerical Slaughter” —a solid follow up to his first ever single from years ago entitled, "Alphabetical Slaughter."
There are too many standout lines to quote so just watch the full "Fortune 500" freestyle below.
