Kanye Posts 'YANDHI' Billboards, Previews Holographic Cover Art
YANDHI is imminent
Though it's hard to tell what it is exactly, Kanye's upcoming project YANDHI already has a new face and some premier ad space.
Earlier this week, the producer, who's made regular use of Instagram in documenting his steps lately, posted a photo of a minimal MiniDisc jacket, fueling speculation that whatever's next might be a sequel of sorts to his 2013 album, Yeezus. Yesterday, he sent that image into motion with a clip of it rotating as a holographic projection from a phone. And now, billboards are popping up across the country with the date 9/29/18, per a screenshot of a text he posted.
The date coincides with his performance on the season premiere of Saturday NightLive. So whatever YANDHI is, we'll see and hear something of it by the end of next week. West is also working on a collaborative project with fellow Chicagoan and hometown hero, Chance The Rapper. That album is tentatively titled Good Ass Job.
