Ja Rule Says He Wants To Do Another Music Festival Despite Fyre Fest Disaster

The entrepreneur and rapper also said that he has no plans of speaking with Billy McFarland, his fellow Fyre Fest co-founder.

Ja Rule and Irv Gotti recently appeared on The Breakfast Club where the former discussed Fyre Fest and his desire to do another music festival despite the controversy — and two documentaries — that came with the festival.

"The Fyre Festival was an amazing idea. Let's not act like every fucking body wasn't coming to the Fyre Festival. It was fucking done wrong," Ja said. "It was organized bad. The idea of it was dope, the marketing was dope, everything was done very right on that end. The execution was extremely bad, man."

"...Sure, I would like to do another festival and do it right because that's what I intended to do in the first motherfucking place," he added.

Ja also spoke on McFarland and how he doesn't intend to have "any conversations" with him, saying that the fellow Fyre Fest co-founder "lied to me, man. He lied to me in a lot of ways."

From there, Ja also talks about rebranding the Fyre app to ICONN before speaking on this year's Rolling Loud Festival and comparing some of the headlines surrounding the event to those that came about during Fyre Fest.

"Six people got murdered...Kodak Black got arrested at the venue. NBA Youngboy's car got shot up, his girl got shot," Ja said of Rolling Loud. "When these documentaries coming out? It feels like when it's black people being ostracized and fucked over it don't mean nothing. But white kids that didn't get their tents that they fucking were promised..."
