"It's time to show you," the group tweeted Tuesday morning, accompanied with a list of tour dates. The tour will begin in Boston, MA, on April 8, and conclude in San Francisco, CA, on May 3. The full tour list can be seen below.

Last year the duo performed their seminal album Paid In Full in its entirety at Harlem's Apollo Theater to commemorate the album's 30th anniversary.

An Eric B. and Rakim Twitter account had teased a reunion back in October of last year but the rumor turned out to be false, with a representative for Rakim stating that although the two have remained close and speaking to one another in recent years, a show was not going to happen. That same Twitter account also got the duo some flack after a tweet was sent out that seemed to endorse Donald Trump for president. Ultimately, the rap duo ended up gaining control of the account again, although it is unknown who was in control of it at the time.

Rakim then addressed his fans about the reunion rumor saying, "It's always a blessing to feel that love and support from the fans and I'm definitely going to be celebrating the 30th Anniversary of Paid in Full in 2017 even if I'm not sure how yet."
