The first track from the new Drakeo the Ruler mixtape dropped on Tuesday.

Los Angeles MC Drakeo the Ruler made headlines in the last couple of years for all the wrong reasons. On Tuesday, however, he released a highly-anticipated collaboration from his forthcoming mixtape, The Truth Hurts. The track, titled “Talk To Me,” features none other than Drake. Stream the full track below.

Originally arrested in 2017 for murder charges he was later acquitted of, Drakeo spent over three years in jail under a gag order with over nine months in solitary confinement. He even recorded a full album while locked up, the Thank You for Using GTL collaborative album with producer JoogSZN. In November, Drakeo was released after accepting a plea deal. The saga came down to Election Day, when former Los Angeles District Attorney Jackie Lacey was defeated by George Gascón.

Upon his release, Drakeo quickly dropped We Know the Truth, a sprawling 25-track album with features from Stinc Team crewmates like Ketchy the Great and rising Michigan rappers Icewear Vezzo, RMC Mike and Rio da Yung OG. The upcoming album boasts features from Don Toliver, Toronto MC Pressa, and Snap Dogg.

Unfortunately, a week before he would appear on The Truth Hurts, Ketchy the Great was reportedly killed in a car accident in Long Beach, California. Last week, Drakeo released a tribute to Ketchy titled “Long Live the Greatest.”

Find “Talk to Me” on all major digital streaming platforms. The rest of The Truth Hurts drops at midnight.
