Every great rapper needs a double album
On June 29th, Drake will release his fifth studio album. Here’s what we know about the album, for sure: the album will be called Scorpion, and it will be executive produced by 40 and Oliver.
On Thursday we got some more hints on what to expect from the project.
Billboards popped up throughout Toronto promoting the album. The billboards contain phrases like “Changing from boy to a man” and “Don’t hit me when you hear this.” One billboard features an owl and Scorpion together.
The most interesting billboard, however, is one that says “A Side B Side.” Fans instantly wondered: is Drake about to release a double album?

Dawg is he finally gonna split the rap and r&b songs apart instead of trying to mash the two together in a long drawn out album?????? https://t.co/Xc2lBUy5AH

What’s interesting is Scorpion is the follow-up to Views, an album that critics said was too long. Is Drake officially going the double album route? We will find out next week.
