On Twitter, West wrote a post dedicated to Byrant. It read “Kobe, We love you brother. We’re praying for your family and appreciate the life you’ve lived and all the inspiration you gave.” It was shared with a photo from a 2010 studio session.

Bryant passed in a helicopter accident in Calabasas, California yesterday morning alongside his 13-year-old daughter Gianna and seven other passengers. At the 2020 Grammys, a few performers spoke about the NBA legend. During her opening performance, Lizzo shared “This is for Kobe,” following this Alicia Keys and Boyz II Men sang a rendition of “It’s So Hard To Say Goodbye to Yesterday.”
Elsewhere during the Grammys, after DJ Khaled, Meek Mill, John Legend and Roddy Rich’s Nipsey Hussle tribute, Hussle was shown on an enlarged screen next to an image of Bryant.
