John Legend - "Made To Love" Live on GMA + Interview & Tour Dates
Expect to see John Legend on your TV a lot more in the coming weeks. With his next album, Love in the Future due in September, he's in full promo mode, complete with a Chevy commercial and various appearances like his performance today on Good Morning America. He's back with new sounds since his 2008 release Evolver and looks forward to this Kanye West-produced album really representing this moment in his life, he told Billboard:
“We [Legend, West & Dave Tozer] made something I think really presents where I am in my life right now. Lyrically, the title kind of embraces where I’m heading in life, I’m about to get married. It’s the beginning of something new, I’m optimistic about it, and you can hear that in the tone of the tracks. I wanted to make a really great modern soul album.”
It sounds like he's well on his way to achieving that goal. A few days back, we posted his second single off Love In The Future, "Made To Love," and although it's a bit more electro than you may be used to hearing from Legend, he still brings a smooth vibe with his vocals.
