Last week, Kanye West took to Twitter to declare retired NBA player Dennis Rodman as one of his "biggest inspirations," with the statement accompanied by a photo of an autographed Rodman Chicago Bulls jersey.
"Love your work, love your style, love your wife, your kids are beautiful," Rodman said in a Twitter video. "Hey man, I thought about something. Let's me and you do a track together, man — about world peace, about leaders of love, baby. Leaders of love. You're one. I'm one. Let's get together, baby, and do this right."
The rapper hasn't been as active as he was both prior to and shortly after the release of his latest album Ye. Before the project's release, he found himself in controversy for wearing a Make America Great Again hat as well as saying that he loves Donald Trump and that 400 years of slavery was a choice.
West's Ye album was a part of a series of albums he produced, including the recently-released Teyana Taylor album K.T.S.E. and Nas' Nasir.
