Wu-Tang Clan to Honor 'Wu-Tang Forever' 25th Anniversary with New Vinyl & Digital Releases

Next month, Wu-Tang Clan will honor the 25th anniversary of their 1997 album Wu-Tang Forever with a new album collection, remixes and more.

Wu-Tang Clan is forever. With the Killa Beez on the swarm again, the collective is readying their 25th anniversary release of 1997 album Wu-Tang Forever, with a reissue including a lyric booklet, a silver-colored 7-inch single of "Triumph" with "Heaterz" a double cassette and more.

Along with the anniversary collection's physical release, Wu-Tang Forever singles "Reunited", "It's Yourz" and "Triumph" will be released on three digital EPs, featuring previously out-of-print Forever era remixes, edits, instrumentals and unarchived original single cover art.

Wu-Tang has also premiered the first episode of their web series which will encapsulate newly-unearthed video interviews from 1997. Each episode will feature the making of their "Triumph" music video, where group members took a break from their five-day shoot to talk about their Staten Island origins, what "Triumph" meant to them and more.

The legendary hip-hop group have also launched a Forever & Ever giveaway with five to six gamified newsletters leading up to the Wu-Tang Forever 25th anniversary on June 3rd. Upon subscribing, fans will unveil a “journey map” that will develop over a sequence of social actions for completion to gain points towards entries for winning concert tickets, merchandise and vinyl.

In April, Wu-Tang joined Fornite by releasing an in-game Wu Wear collection, a hands emote, an exclusive loading screen and more.

In the fall, Wu-Tang will be joining Nas for the 25-date 'NY State of Mind' tour kicking off at Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre in St. Louis, MO, with stops in Toronto, Houston, Oakland, Los Angeles and more.
