Kanye West Re-Opens Sunday Service With Social Distancing Guidelines

Kanye West posted footage of the latest ceremony on Twitter.

A presidential campaign isn't stopping Kanye West from hosting Sunday Service. On Monday, West posted footage of a ceremony at his family ranch in Wyoming.

"We would like to thank our staff for making sure all COVID safety guidelines were followed today during Sunday Service at our West Mountains family ranch in Wyoming," Kanye tweeted. "We are beyond blessed to share the love of Christ through worship."

He later tweeted video of the choir singing in matching orange outfits. The members weren't wearing masks, nor do they seem to be standing at least six feet apart, but wife Kim Kardashian-West assured followers that Kanye and the choir took precautions to ensure the members' safety.

"For anyone wondering," she wrote, "Kanye's team took every precaution to ensure the choir's health and safety which is always top priority. It was filmed today without an audience. The music will be shared soon for anyone who could use some uplifting."

This service was the first time Kanye's brought his choir together since Easter Sunday on April. Kim tweeted that the entirety of the videos are featured on her Instagram stories.

Days ago, Kanye West congratulated California Senator Kamala Harris on being nominated as the potential vice president.

"I know my mom and Kamala Harris would have been friends," he tweeted on Saturday. "Congratulations on being the democratic Vice president nominee...all love and respect from the future president. It's an honor to run against you."

Perhaps inspired by the service, Kanye also announced he was interested in speaking with the owners of the TikTok app to make a more Christian-friendly app.

"A vision just came to me," he tweeted. "Jesus Tok. I was watching Tik Tok with my daughter and as a Christian father I was disturbed by a lot of the content but I completely loved the technology."
