Do You Know The Answer To This 'Jeopardy!' Question About Thundercat?

Bass virtuoso Thundercat was a part of a Jeopardy! answer Tuesday night.

A contestant chose the category Musical Guest Performers for $1,600. "At Coachella in 2017, Thundercat did a version of 'What a Fool Believes' with this Doobie Brother," Jeopardy! host Alex Trebek read. One of the other contestants then correctly answered by responding with Michael McDonald.

Thundercat shared his excitement of being included in the answer on Twitter, writing: "Dude. I was a jeopardy question today. Hell yeah."

McDonald, alongside Kenny Loggins, made an appearance on "Show You The Way," a track from Thundercat's album Drunk. During an interview last year McDonald revealed how the collaborative track between the three artists came about.

"Kenny Loggins had reached out to Steve Bruner, Thundercat, after he had heard an interview where Steve mentioned Kenny and I," McDonald said to Noisey. "...when I met Steve and I heard some of the stuff he had been cutting for the new record, I really was jazzed, and I became immediately aware of his past stuff. He's an amazingly talented kid and got a great musicality, so I just wanted to kind of be a part of it on any, whatever level. We wrote the one song, and I'm hoping to write some stuff in the future. I was thrilled that he asked me."

Before the two joined forces at Coachella, McDonald and Thundercat also played together at Brainfeeder's Los Angeles showcase a year ago. The two played "What A Fool Believes" and "Them Changes."
