Initially teased all the way back in 2015, Neo Yokio stars Smith as a pink-haired, demon-slaying lead in “the greatest city in the world,” a fictional locale that blends the best of New York and Tokio. Created by Koenig, the series is developed with Studio Deen and famed director Kazuhiro Furuhashi (Ranma 1/2Rurouni Kenshin and more) with contributions from VICELAND’s Kid Mero and Jude Law, who voices a butler for Smith’s character. Details on the series are still scarce, but with a premiere date of September 22nd, it won’t be long before the blanks are filled in.
