Chuck D On Flavor Flav's Lawsuit: "He Took A Wrong Road On This"

On Wednesday Flavor Flav filed a lawsuit against his longtime partner Chuck D and two managers over unpaid Public Enemy royalties.

Now, only a day later, Chuck D has responded to the lawsuit.

TMZ caught up with the legendary rapper and asked him about the lawsuit, which caught hip-hop fans by surprise.

Chuck told TMZ:

He also thinks Flav "will again be embarrassed admitting on stage about the way it spun out. Its always this way with him."

The legendary rapper also said he hopes that Flav "will be woke in rehearsal studio and paying attention to the work we and all the members do worldwide."

On Thursday evening Chuck also took the time to address the suit on his Twitter account:

The "50 songs" Chuck is referring to is the claim that Flav made in the lawsuit that he co-wrote over 50 Public Enemy songs.

On Flav's Instagram, the legendarysidekick put up a post trying to defuse the situation:

Flavor Flav is suing Chuck D,Gary Rinaldo, the groups business manager since 2008, and Clifton Greg Johnson, his ex-personal manager, for unpaid royalties and revenue from merchandise.
