Cardi B, Doechii, T.I. and More Set to Appear at 2026 BET Awards

Rick Ross, Common, Don Toliver, Jill Scott, Kehlani and other performers have been announced for this year’s highly anticipated show.

The 2026 BET Awards have an impressive slate of stars set to take the stage for “Culture’s Biggest Night.” The first wave of performers and special guests have been announced, and they include Cardi B, Common, Doechii and more.

Among the other artists slated to appear are Queen Latifah, Rick Ross, Tems, French Montana and Max B, Jill Scott, Kehlani, Don Toliver, T.I., kwn and The War And Treaty. 

MC Lyte will once again return as announcer.

Cardi leads the nominations with six nods, followed by Kendrick Lamar and Mariah the Scientist, with five nods each; and Doechii, Doja Cat, Clipse, Teyana Taylor, Olivia Dean and Latto, who each have four. Chris Brown, Kehlani, A$AP Rocky, Bruno Mars, Jill Scott, Bryson Tiller, Metro Boomin, SZA, Tasha Cobbs Leonard, T.I., Tems, and YK Niece all have three apiece. 

In the movie categories, One Battle After Another and Sinners are both nominated for best movie, as is Wicked: For Good. Sinners stars Michael B. Jordan and Delroy Lindo landed nods for Sinners, while Teyana Taylor earned a nomination for her performance in One Battle After Another.

There are also two new categories this year: The Fashion Vanguard Award recognizes a global figure in fashion whose presence has had long-standing cultural impact. A$AP Rocky, Bad Bunny, Beyoncé, Cardi B, Colman Domingo, Doechii, Rihanna, Teyana Taylor and Zendaya are this year’s nominees. The second new award is the Pulse Award, which gives flowers to Black podcasters and storytellers.
