Foushee - Speak Up

Left-of-center soul singer Foushee follows the ESSENCE debut of the official video for “By One” with her debut project Speak Up.

Speak Up' pokes fun at a phrase I was constantly told growing up. I was a shy, soft-spoken kid, but I was very creative so I used music and art as an expressive outlet. Now that I've grown and experienced life, I finally feel like I found my voice. Now I'm ready to speak up and I have so much to say. This EP touches on topics like substance abuse, the current race war, situational friendships, & of course love! My goal was to give these topics a fresh perspective and sound.  - Fousheé
