YG was planning to drop a surprise album in April, around the time of his Coachella performance. And then life happened.
Close friend Nipsey Hussle was killed on March 31st. YG took it hard and decided to postpone the release.

On Friday, May 24th YG released his new album. Titled 4Real 4Real, the album is led by the singles "Stop Snitching" and "4 Loko." The album features appearances from Meek Mill, DaBaby, Kamaiyah, Mustard, Valee, and more. The album also includes the YG speech from the Nipsey memorial last month.

In an interview with Big Boy, YG revealed that he plans on giving Nipsey Hussle's kids a percentage of every song on the album.
