The Detroit legend, born February 7th, is widely-regarded as one of hip-hop's most brilliant and influential producers. And typically the month that also saw the release of his magnum opus, Donuts, is when we see the lion's share of homage paid. Today, Cookin' Soul turns in the very first hat tip to the late Dilla Dawg, sharing a live tribute set recorded in Brussels with a SP-404, a laptop and a single turntable, spanning Dilla's entire career, both as solo artist and as helmer of classics for Busta Rhymes, D'Angelo, De La Soul and more.
