The Art Of Cool Festival Brings The Heat To Durham On April 25th & 26th

The Art Of Cool Festival is slated to bring a massive amount of heat to Durham, North Carolina on April 25th and 26th with two days packed full of performances from a who's who of artists and groups serving up the best in funk, soul and jazz. The festival - a collaborative event series from the The Art of Cool Project non-profit organization and the good folks at North Carolina Central University - features appearances from The Foreign Exchange, Miguel Atwood-Ferguson, Maceo Parker, GIZMO, Amel Larrieux, Bilal, Thundercat, Christian Scott, KING, Mark De Clive-Lowe, The REVIVE Big Band, Nnenna Freelon, Marcus Strickland, Gerald Clayton, N'Dambi, Hubert Laws, Cody Chesnutt, Alice Smith and The Clayton Brothers. With such an impressive list of performers it seems almost outrageous to think that festival organizers could have found room for anyone else. Looking at the lineup, however, it becomes immediately clear that there is much, much more. With 21 days to go until the festival kicks off, there is plenty time left to purchase ticket packages and festival passes. Check the footage below to watch the festival trailer.
