NYC native Amel Larrieux has dropped "I Do Take", a sugary and fuzzed-out tune off her upcoming Ice Cream Everyday LP, her first solo album in nearly seven years. The former Groove Theory member and founder has enjoyed her lengthy hiatus and seems ready to get back on the wagon with the release of this track laden with phased guitar riffs and her patented sweetness on the mic, proving without a doubt that a little R&R may be just what the doctor ordered. While the album release may have been postponed from its original date, the new late fall release will surely keep you warm by the fireside.
