Janelle Monáe's latest single - the title track from her forthcoming LP The Electric Lady - has emerged ahead of the project's scheduled September 10th release. The album stream follows a string of singles and features as of late, including tracks with Solange, Miguel and a contribution to Goodie Mob's recent Age Against The Machine LP. The anticipation for the ArchAndroid's third release has been building pretty steadily since the single and subsequent video for "Q.U.E.E.N." made waves with a little help from Erykah Badu. That was followed by "Dance Apocalyptic" and news that Prince would have a hand in at least one track on the project. The Electric Lady also features a contribution from Esperanza Spalding as well as the requisite doses of afro-futuristic funk as only Janelle Monáe can deliver.
