7 Hip-Hop & R&B Albums You Should Be Listening To (Week of July 29)

Beyonce Renaissance

Beyoncé is back and there's nothing you can do about it. Her luscious and dance-ready album will be our soundtrack for the weekend.

Beyoncé released Renaissance her follow-up to her excellent album Lemonade today after a leak, it's been six years. Act I: Renaissance is the first of a three-part effort. Renaissance is a sonically ambitious album featuring samples from Donna Summer, Kelis (even though she's been vocally against it), and more. Writing has been credited to JAY-Z, Drake, The Dream, Syd, A.G. Cook, Skrillex, BloodPop, Hit-Boy, Nile Rodgers, and much more. The Bey-hive is eating today.

More music drops worth paying attention to include Maxo Kream's deluxe edition of Weight Of The World and Casey Veggies' Crypto Veggies (yes, you read that right). Wiz Khalifa shares Multiverse. Asian Doll releases her first indie album Let's Do A Drill. And Kidd Kenn also dropped Grown recently, it features Baby Tate, Erica Banks, and more.

Doe Boy drops off Catch Me If You Can too.
