lorde-wale-rozay-royals-remix-lead

Lorde‘s “Royals” gets another remix courtesy of MMG‘s Wale, ahead of The Album About Nothing – the next project slated to drop from the DMV MC. The remix features Rick Ross‘ original remix verse with a go-go break from Mr. Folarin that captures the club-ready charm of 2009’s “Pretty Girls” before serving a bit of dancehall from Magazeen. The latest hip-hop rework of Lorde’s smash hit arrives alongside EveryBlueMoon.com – Wale’s new Tumblr page, which he plans to use to reestablish a more personal relationship with fans. The news follows a contentious year in the media, prompted by a lackluster critical reception of The Gifted LP. Wale drops the “Royals” (Remix) with a solemn vow to the fans:

“I may never be the biggest rapper in the world (still one of the best doe), but I’ll be the most dedicated to my fans and it starts with this right here,” he wrote. “This is rare. This is REAL. This is about us. This is about the music again. My ReRE -Dedication to greatness.”

Funny how this song disses the stuff they rap about. Did they even listen to her?

I did. And I wondered what sense would it make to do that? None. So my question still stands.
