The NBA Champion New York Knicks are set to take over Monday, June 15, night’s episode of The Tonight Show two days after their defeat of the San Antonio Spurs in Game Five of the NBA Finals. According to a statement from NBC, Jimmy Fallon is sitting down with the 2026 NBA champs, including series MVP Jalen Brunson, as well as his teammates Karl-Anthony Towns, Josh Hart, OG Anunoby and Mikal Bridges. The show will also feature a special performance from the Wu-Tang Clan.
The Wu will now forever be linked to the New York Knicks, following this historic NBA Finals run. The Staten Island legends performed at Madison Square Garden during halftime of game four on Wednesday, June 11. After getting the crowd amped with classics like “Bring da Ruckus,” “Method Man” and “C.R.E.A.M.,” the home team rallied back from being down 76-49 at the break. The Knicks mounted a historic comeback, overcoming the biggest deficit in NBA playoff history to notch a 107-106 win.
Fallon, a noted Knicks superfan, was there for that game four comeback. A number of celebs have shown their support for the team, including Taylor Swift, Este and Alana Haim, Timothée Chalamet, Chris Rock, Adam Sandler, Sydney Sweeney, and the longtime courtside crew of Spike Lee, Tracy Morgan, Ben Stiller and others.
