The O'Jayshave been putting out music for more than 40 years. So it's safe to say the group knows a little bit about what's good and what isn't. Buzzfeed's Cocoa Butter decided to conduct an experiment with the group's, founding members Eddie Levert and Walter Williams.
The two were shown clips of various contemporary artists and their hottest songs. Then they were asked to critique what they heard. Levert and Williams watched videos from Travis Scott, Cardi B, Lil Baby, Sheck Wes, and Post Malone. As you can imagine, the results were hilarious.
And they only really ended up liking one song (Post Malone's "Better Now," interestingly enough.)
The two biggest complaints from Levert and Williams: the cursing and the fact that they couldn't really understand what some of the artists were saying. ("Don't lose the message because of a speech problem," Eddie Levert said at one point.)
