Jay-Z’s latest video is a family affair. On Thursday, the rapper’s streaming service TIDAL shared a snippet of his upcoming music video for “Family Feud,” a track off his latest critically acclaimed album, 4:44.
The “Family Feud” visual is a far cry from a majority of the album’s accompanying music videos— “The Story of O.J.,” “Bam,” “Moonlight,” “Marcy Me” —in the form of short-films opting for character-driven storylines sans Hov or the Carters. This one aptly, but surprisingly features his family.
In one scene from the clip, Beyoncé and Jay are shown on opposite sides of a confessional booth. In another, Jay walks their eldest daughter Blue, down an aisle through a church. And the in the final, of course, a scene of fatal infidelity.
