Kenny Beats ushered in the second season of his ongoing web series, The Cave, with an appearance from Danny Brown.
Though the show's format encourages off-the-cuff bars (of which Brown has no shortage,) the Detroit MC waxes a bit on how "I have to put love and care into these songs," as Kenny sets up his Ableton session. Brown also tells a story about nearly losing his life if it weren't for a friend named Pootie Tang.
Once the beat's crafted (and a PSA from Zach Fox flashes,) Danny hops in the booth with a bag of lines about kush, kiwis, and genies. And the final product begs for a full (hell, even abbreviated) collaborative project.
The session follows the release of Brown's new album, uknowhatimsayin¿, which was executive-produced by Q-Tip and features guest spots from Flying Lotus, Thundercat, Run The Jewels, JPEGMAFIA, and more.
