Watch Vince Staples' 'Prima Donna' Short Film (dir. Nabil)

Two weeks back, Vince Staples released his Prima Donna EP with the promise of a Nabil-directed short to accompany. Today the short film arrives from the visionary director, pitting Staples against the nightmare of fame. The whole sequence plays out in a Shining-like hotel where his fellow occupants include Jimi Hendrix and Kurt Cobain. Clips from the EP's track list play throughout, including "Smile," "War Ready" and "Big Time," prominently featuring James Blake's production, who Staples will support on tour this fall.
