Tierra Whack Flies to Space in the Ethereal "Link" Video

Tierra Whack drops a new video built entirely by children.

On Tuesday, Philadelphia MC Tierra Whack shared a special new video for "Link," a track produced by J Melodic. The video was made in collaboration with The Lego Group, with the video built entirely by children and directed by Cat Solen. Stream the video below.

"I was so excited to work with kids because their energy is fun, exhilarating, never-ending, and full of surprises," she said in a statement. "I really trusted them, and I knew they were going to come up with something great. What I loved most about the process was being able to partner with such an iconic company like the Lego group because we could make anything happen!"

In the video, Tierra--living on a foreign planet--builds a rocket ship made entirely of Legos. With a little help from a few extraterrestrial friends, she presses a "Go To Space Forever" button and takes flight. Upon entering the stratosphere, she accidentally presses the button again, flooding her ship and crashing back to the planet she departed from.

The collaboration is a part of Lego's Lego Rebuild the World campaign. The campaign features contributions from fashion icon Billy Porter, Whack, and Sir David Adjaye.

"Link" is Tierra Whack's first single of 2021, following "Dora," "Feel Good," and "Peppers and Onions" from 2020. The former track included appearances from The Muppets and Garfield.
