"If Trump can be my president then Bernie Sanders can freestyle on Ebro."
For roughly six months now, Desus Nice and The Kid Mero have tried their hand with late-night television on VICELAND's aptly-titled, Desus & Mero. For the most part, it's been a fun ride through politics and pop culture through the duo's red-eyed lens. But the fellas are at their best in the show's mid-program interview. Monday night, they chopped it up with Young M.A. and last night another irreverent pairing joined them for some candid banter and all of the stories.
If it isn't clear yet, Run The Jewels was last night's guest and it proved to be a formidable meeting of hazy minds, recounting the dastardly duo's origins (Cartoon Network, go fucking figure,) the moment they knew this whole jewel running thing would take, their activism with Bernie Sanders (who El-P claims could pop up on a cut at some point) and Killer Mike's come up in The Dungeon Family (emphasizing just how quick that OutKast money went.)
You can watch Run The Jewels on last night's episode of Desus & Mero below. Pick up a copy of their latest album Run The Jewels 3 on iTunes today.
