All-world artist/producer Robert Glasper has announced a surprise mixtape called Fuck Yo Feelings set to be released on October 4th. During a two-day studio session at the Henson Recording Studios in Hollywood —which originally started with Chris Dave, Derrick Hodge, and DJ Jahi Sundance — Glasper called in a few high-profile friends.
The project is a reunion of sorts, Glasper mentions during a documentary he released announcing the project, as he, Dave, and Hodge hadn't played together since 2011's Grammy-winning Black Radio. "Every album I do, I want to try to represent the times we're in," Glasper said. "I try to use my music as a catalyst to make people think about things, and hopefully to help promote change...It's something to document the time period."
The tracklist, which you can find below, features heavyweights like Herbie Hancock, Yasiin Bey, and Bilal, amongst others. "I want the whole thing to be a mixtape vibe," Glasper continued.
