Performing selections from his debut full-length album, Aromanticism, Sumney is accompanied by a guitar, horns and Brandee Younger's hypnotic harp as he shifts from a solo acoustic piano take of "Doomed" to "Quarrel" and, finally, "Plastic," with the band in tow. Sumney's Tiny Desk outing follows appearances from The Roots, Thundercat, DJ Premier and, most recently, Aminé, on NPR's beloved live performance series.
