“Thot Shit” is Megan Thee Stallion’s newest release since she released her debut album Good News.
Megan Thee Stallion has returned with a summer anthem fit for the debauchery that’s about to take place in the coming months: “Thot Shit.”
Tina Snow, her alter ego appears in the visual for the new single that features her overtake the life of a politician who is displeased with her risque behavior. The clip is an enjoyable watch, throughout it, the public official is attempting to escape from Megan and her crew of vulgar dancers.
Megan teased “Thot Shit” earlier this week and announced she’d be releasing the song. Ahead of the drop she also shared where she got inspiration for the song’s name on Twitter: “I’m really just talking shit and taking ownership of the words “thot” and “hoe” bc they’re not the drag the men think it is when trying to come at women for doing them.”

Here’s one line from the single that we loved:
“I don’t give a f*ck about a girl tryna bash me. I’m the sh*t per the Recording Academy.”
So, Megan is flipping “thot” on its head and it works. The track is biting, energetic, and ideal for the looming summer. The last release from the rapper was Good News, her debut album which featured appearances by SZA, City Girls, DaBaby, and more. It also follows her winning her first three Grammys a few months back. Recently, alongside taking a hiatus from releasing her own music she donated a one-year scholarship to Roc Nation’s School of Music, Sports & Entertainment at Brooklyn’s Long Island University.
As for what’s next, we’re sure there will be additional rollouts as the summer progresses. This is a strong start.
