Lil Wayne Joins The Roots to Perform "Dreams" on The Tonight Show

Wayne went with one of the Funeral standout tracks.

Lil Wayne released his 13th solo studio album, Funeral, about a week ago, to lukewarm response.  On Wednesday night, he joined Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show as the musical guest. Unfortunately for us, this time around he didn't sit down for an interview. However, he linked up with The Roots to perform "Dreams."

The track was originally produced by Alex Delicata, Sommers, and Aaron Z. Watch the full performance above.

Wayne revealed the Funeral artwork and release date just eight days before its release. The album currently holds the top spot on the Apple Music album charts. "I Do It," featuring Big Sean and Lil Baby is currently number five on its Top Songs chart. Billboard expectsFuneral to debut atop the Billboard 200 chart this week. Roddy Ricch's Please Excuse Me For Being Antisocial currently sits at the top spot.

Should Funeral debut at the top spot, it would be the fourth Billboard number one of Wayne's career. Tha Carter IV, Tha Carter VI Am Not A Human Being, and Tha Carter III all previously debuted at the top spot. Overall, Funeral will likely be Wayne's 12th top 10 Billboard entry.
