Latashá's "WHO I AM" Is Her Redemption Song [Premiere]

The artist has released the music video to her latest single, "WHO I AM."

"This is who I am/This is what I do. This is who I am/I'm the living proof. This is who I am/This is what I do. This is who I am/Who the f**k are you?"

The opening lines to Latashá's latest single, "WHO I AM," is a mantra that embodies what the artist's song is about: championing and embracing all aspects of yourself and being aware of who you are.

This idea is also beautifully captured in the music video for "WHO I AM," which Okayplayer is premiering. Directed by Jahmel Reynolds (who is a part of Latashá's Lytehaus Media alongside performance director Angel Darmella and director in photography Terrance Young), the music video finds Latashá coolly and confidently reciting parts of the song throughout Los Angeles, transforming each location into her space in the process.

"'WHO I AM' is a redemption song and about knowing self — embracing all of the selves and keeping my word and worth," Latashá said of the song and music video.

"I feel like I'm reincarnating. I've rebirthed so many times in this trajectory of my artist career but this time feels different," she added. "This time I'm going all out to take people into my reality, to let people know who I am."

Along with the video's release, Latashá is also having a livestream performance and Q&A at 7pm EST (4pm PST) on her Instagram account.
