First, he came for your heart, now he's after your head. Kendrick Lamar warned the industry to take shelter come April 7th, but we didn't have to wait that long to know why. Today, the Compton rapper has released the new single "HUMBLE," produced by Mike Will Made It. The track arrives on the heels of their last collaboration "Perfect Pint," released last week on the producer's new album Ransom 2.

"HUMBLE" finds Kendrick at his most glowingly braggadocious on a beat that departs from the jazz-loving and half-crooning styles we'd heard on TPAB. Here, Lamar takes direct aim at the charts with A-1 barbs on a cut sure to climb. As for that April 7th date, it's almost clear that an album can be expected. And with only a week to go, "HUMBLE" is yet another taste of what we might be able to expect. Also, it's worth noting that the "leaked" track list is now a confirmed fake, though it pains us so to admit. In any case, we should know more in the days ahead. Watch Kendrick Lamar's video for "HUMBLE" down below and hold tight for the next transmission. Revisit "The Heart Part 4" in this week's installment of The Round-Up
