Jamiroquai Announce New Album 'Automaton' in Cryptic Teaser Video
If the stars are reading right, by 2017's end we'll have a new album from Jamiroquai. Presumably titled Automaton, the record will serve as the British future funk troupe's eighth studio album and their first since 2010's Rock Dust Light Star. The announcement arrives by way of a cryptic Blade Runner-ish teaser finding frontman Jay Kay traversing new lands, new cap and all.
There's even little snippet of new sounds at the tail-end of the audiovisual bomb. Though no release date has been officially announced, the announcement has thrown fans into such a frenzy they're looking into Jamiroquai's potential ASCAP holdings for new song titles. For now, the only firm details we have pertain to their forthcoming tour schedule with four confirmed dates in the books, listed below the player. We fully expect that list to expand in the weeks and months ahead as new information arrives. Watch the trailer for Jamiroquai's Automaton below and hold tight for their next transmission.
